A redesign of garden and approach to a historic house that is currently being given a new lease of life by a new generation

The house had been divided up into separate dwellings and as such the entrance was confused and incoherent. A redesign has reinstated a large turning circle to facilitate day-to-day drop-offs and deliveries, and includes generous hidden and practical EV parking for the owners and visitors.
A long-term strategy for the rest of the garden links a series of unconnected spaces into a sequence of garden rooms of varying size and function – small and intimate for family breakfasts in the sun, and large and formal for events and parties.

Work is due to start shorly on the drive, with the garden to follow.
